Find relevant keywords in a quicker and easier way by toggling between seeing all related keywords and exact match keywords.

What is the difference between the two settings?

  • Exact Match Keywords: An exact match keyword is a keyword or keyphrase that exactly matches the search query used by users. When you target an exact match keyword, you are aiming to show up in search results when users enter that specific keyword or phrase. This type of targeting can be very specific and may lead to more relevant traffic.

  • Related Keywords: A related keyword is a term that is semantically related to the main keyword but may not be an exact match. It shares a similar meaning or context with the main keyword. Including related keywords in your content can help search engines understand the broader topic you are covering and improve the relevance and depth of your content.

When to use which filter?

When analysing a brand:

Use Exact Match Keywords in order to quickly select the keywords that contain the brand name. We encourage you to check the related keywords as well in order to find possible variations of how people have searched for the brand.

When analysing a topic:

When analysing a topic like “Sneakers” you might find that some people have searched for this topic using a different keyword such as “Trainers”, use the related keywords to select all relevant keywords for you to visualise.
